Platinum Wealth Solutions, San Antonio, TX opened a brand new office. We had work previously with the parent company, Michigan Financial. They loved us so mush they decided to send down to beautiful San Antonio to assemble the new cubes. Trendway, a Michigan based manufacturer supplied the cubicle. The office was small but we made the most of it:

From the "Less Is More" product line, these cubes fit in the space perfectly and kept the cost to about half of a competitors bid!

Stagged heights were used to keep the office as open as possible.

The Final result was an efficient use of space with a crisp, clean look.

Trans Overseas is a large import/export company in Romulus Michigan. The central office had not bee remodeled in 2 years. The furniture was ugly, old, and broken. I wish we had gotten some before pictures to illustrate the stark contrast between the original furniture and the new layout. The old cubes were pink and gray. The new work stations are more open, have 3 times the filing space, and have rich pear wood colored work tops.

Empty room on Saturday morning. Friday night was spent tearing out the old furniture and laying new carpet and painting the walls.

Mid day Saturday. Cube walls are being installed and components are going in.

Nearly completed work station with new filing space.

Monday morning after the resident has moved in. The new cubicle has 5 feet of overhead storage, 8 feet of linear filing space, and 24.5 square feet of desk space.

The whole office area is open and inviting. the lower panels allow more light to flow through the space while eliminating the cave like feel of tall cube walls.

Lay-Z-Boy Company Headquarters installed new cubicles and Trendwall floor to ceiling walls with glass during a remodel at their Monroe Michigan facility. Time was a big factor in the project because the area to be redone was near the cafeteria. It had to be done quickly and with as little mess as possible. Sanding and painting drywall was out of the question due to the dust and fumes created during the process. The cafeteria would have to be closed and sealed until the completion in order to eliminate contamination from construction. We solved the problem by using Trendwall product. Two days construction time from start to finish with now sanding, painting or dust.

Private offices created on the perimeter of the cubicle area.

Floor to ceiling partitions trimmed in crisp white with tempered glass.45 degree corner shown with door

Trendwall is a very versatile product. Shown here is the ability to change the height of panels to accommodate changes in ceiling height and other obstacles.

Long wall sections can create fantastic looking rooms and work spaces quickly and without gigantic construction mess. Private offices can be created and modified with minimal interruption. The whole thing is clean, green, and hassle free.

Caretel Fullerton is a retirement community of the west side of Michigan. The newly remodeled front office needed a reception counter that was clean and inviting. Caretels in house designer started sketching and said "build this" so we did. heres what we came up with:

One giant sized boomerang top with a one piece counter. The counter is supported by extruded aluminum posts with tackable inserts.

Fabrics and finishes were chosen based on the building specifications

A freestanding unit was created rather than a permanently installed piece because it was easier to clean under. The entire unit can be picked up and moved if needed.

Final position shows a chair with matching back fabric and CPU holders to keep computer equipment off the ground.

Bill's Barber Shop My buddy Billy had some really ugly chairs but he didn't really care. I had to get my hair cut there every month and while I was waiting I would tease him  about how ugly his chairs were. I told him one day our delivery truck would arrive with new chairs and remove the old ones. Now Billy is a buddy from high school. We used to race cars and talk about hot rods together. He's basically Red neck, motor head that likes to shoot things and hang them on the wall. I decided we needed to make a chair worthy of his skills. Here is the process:

chair before          Stripped frame

We Started with some Steelcase chairs salvaged from a local hospital. As you can see, they were ugly and in poor condition. Being Steelcase however meant the frames were still solid so we had them chemically stripped.

          Upholstry

We had our in house artist get after the chair frames with a grinders in order to apply some cool looking hot rod style technique to the bare metal. The frames were then off to the powder coater for a hard shell clear coat.

Many Nauga's gave their skin to provide the seating surface for these chairs. Upholstered in genuine Naugahide with a hunting and fishing themed fabric on the back, the look is quite different from the chair we started with.

Shiny, clear coated steel arms make these chair completely unique.

Fuller Hill Child Care  A new start-up child care center, Fuller Hill Child Care needed a new reception station.  After several unsuccessful journeys to find the perfect solution, they were referred by a friend to check out Wolverine Office Interiors.  The criteria for their reception station was color and modern, cutting edge design ingenuity.  As you can see, they got exactly what they wanted.  The red laminate panels and maple laminate work surfaces and transaction tops are wrapped with black trim.  The corners are abrasive polished and clear coated.  They agreed this station will scream to their patrons..."come lean on me"!

They entrusted Wolverine Office Interiors with the task of making the space work for them while maintaining their specific budget.  They were able to take advantage of buying all used Herman Miller AO2 panels, work surfaces, over-head storage, shelves and pedestal files within their budget with some extra cash left-over.  With the extra cash in hand, they decided to upgrade the cubicles and added tack-boards, task-lighting and new fabric to their flipper doors and tack boards all while staying within their budget.  Another happy customer and job well done by the wonderful crew of Wolverine Office Interiors.

Whitney Collision-After remodeling their state of the art collision center, the owner of Whitney Collision needed a new work area for the office and estimating staff. Custom shaped work surfaces were made in our woodshop. Darker colored fabrics limit the amount of wear shown from the shop environment. A mixture of remanufactured and used products were utilized to save cost. The result is a work area that fits with a price tag that doesn't hurt.

Ohio Department of Health - This is a Trendwall floor to ceiling project. What if I told you we put up over 1400 feet (over 2800 if you count both sides) of floor to ceiling walls, with REAL wood doors, in 10 business days, with no painting, fumes, sanding or dust?

It can happen, and we can do it. Forty-five private offices, 3 conference rooms, 2 file areas all with electrical and DATA , and almost no waste! Check out the process....

Ceiling Crown and floor are installed with the help of construction lasers. Ceiling crown is attached directly to the ceiling grid. This part is highly technical and requires a very precise eye. Some spans in this installation were over 100 feet!

After ceiling crown and floor plate are installed, the Trendway truck is unloaded with the help of a construction lift. Trendwall panels are made to order based on the height of the ceiling. They can be as high as 14 feet!

End of day 5, walls are standing and in the process of being leveled and secured together. At this point, DATA and modular electrical installation will begin.

The finished product with all trim and electrical in place (note the drill charger in foreground). Not bad for two weeks work. Try that with conventional drywall and studs!

Imagine cutting your time to occupancy by weeks and not having to deal with all that mess!

Trendwall is a Drywall based product so it allows you the security of REAL doors and hardware as well as the sound insulating characteristics of a conventional stud wall. The difference is, its quicker, cleaner, greener, and portable. We can move this door in an hour with no cutting or waste!

Cliff Keen Athletic - During a remodel, it was decided that the pink office panels had to go, but all new furniture was not in the budget. The solution was new panels and existing components.

The old work surfaces were a gray color and were in good shape.  Newly remanufactured panels were used in addition to a new configuration in order to update the office.

These are actually Haworth work surfaces and components hanging on newly covered Herman Miller Panels!

Joust Strength and Fitness - This is not a joke! What you are looking at is a packing crate for gym weights turned upside down! Things were so busy at this gym that there was no time to outfit the office.

The entire working budget had been used to buy weights and gym stuff so a used desk was needed. Nothing fancy because money is tight!

With the chair, installed for less than $500!

We made this from surplus inventory in about an hour!
